Job Title: Intensive Case Management Supervisor

Church World Service is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Intensive Case Management Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our Home Study Program, you will provide programmatic oversight and direct supervision of Intensive Case Managers providing intensive post-reunification support and home study services to unaccompanied children and their sponsors in the Los Angeles area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide oversight of Level 3 Post Release Services, intensive case management in Garden Grove, California
  • Oversee casework that provides crisis intervention, safety planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration to stabilize UC in crisis
  • Ensure compliance with Policy and Procedure in accordance with Cooperative Agreement for the delivery of the Home Study and Post Release Service program
  • Elevate the visibility of the HSPRS program within the office and local community to increase access to supportive services for unaccompanied children
  • Conduct outreach and education among local service providers and systems to improve awareness and understanding of challenges facing unaccompanied children
  • Actively engage stakeholders such as CPS, behavioral health providers to increase and enhance services and support available to UC requiring intensive case management
Requirements:
  • Masters degree in social work, psychology, sociology, or other relevant behavioral science in which clinical experience is a program requirement, plus at least two years of postgraduate direct clinical service experience
  • A minimum of three years case management experience
  • Experience providing post-reunification support, casework documentation, working with children and youth, family reunification/preservation, and/or foster care/child welfare and previous work experience with foreign-born youth is required
  • Experience conducting home study assessments (for UC, adoption, or foster care) highly preferred
  • A minimum of two years of prior supervisory experience
  • Prior experience networking and building relationships across organizations or programs is required
