Front Desk Clerk Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Front Desk Clerk to join our team at DelMonte Hotel Group. As a Front Desk Clerk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a seamless experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and register guests, assigning rooms and providing information about hotel amenities and services.
  • Answer and respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process guest payments, handle cash and credit transactions, and maintain accurate records.
  • Make and confirm reservations, monitor room availability, and block rooms as needed.
  • Provide information about local attractions, restaurants, and services, and assist guests with directions and recommendations.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area, including the lobby and surrounding areas.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, including opening and closing shifts, making cash drops, and maintaining market stock and coffee area.
Requirements:
  • 1-3 months of related experience in a hospitality or customer service role.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Basic computer and administrative skills, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
