About the Position

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Operating Room Assistant to join our team at Yale New Haven Health. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and are looking for a challenging and rewarding career.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the anesthesiology staff within the operating room, ensuring smooth operations and efficient patient care.
  • Provide technical support to the anesthesia team, including troubleshooting equipment and maintaining difficult airway equipment.
  • Supply the anesthesia care provider with clean and sterile disposable and non-disposable equipment and supplies.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 12 months of experience as a clinical technician, PCA, CNA, TA, or pharmacy technician.
  • CPR certification is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences or related field preferred.
