As a Head Chef at Snooze East Nashville, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen team to deliver exceptional food quality and service. You will oversee food purchasing, storage, and inventory, as well as ensure adherence to Snooze's quality, safety, and sanitation standards.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the kitchen team to achieve sales, service, safety, and sanitation goals.
- Develop and implement effective training programs for kitchen staff.
- Conduct regular tastings to maintain consistency and address any issues promptly.
- Ensure proper training of all staff in safety and sanitation practices, equipment operation, and kitchen tool usage.
- Prepare all required paperwork, including inventory, ordering, forms, reports, and schedules.
- 3+ years of operations and leadership experience in the food service industry.
- Excellent basic math skills and ability to operate a cash register and Point of Sale system.
- Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time and have the stamina to work 50 to 55 hours per week.
