We're looking for a Staff Content Designer to join our Content Design team, who will be responsible for shaping our product by creating meaningful information experiences that help users complete tasks, discover features, and get the most out of the Pinterest platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce and maintain UX copy across all Pinterest products
  • Advocate for content in product design beyond the written word
  • Work with product designers and other team members on wireframes and iterative click-through prototypes
  • Build rational, articulable, elegant solutions to complex problems
  • Use empathy, logic, and data to inform content choices
  • Propose information architecture solutions that improve way-finding and discoverability
  • Collaborate with researchers, product managers, engineers, marketing, and business stakeholders to establish conversational, cohesive language with a unified voice
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in UX writing, Content Design, or UX Content Strategy
  • Deep awareness of UX and how content and design work together
  • Portfolio demonstrating breadth, creativity, and expertise in information architecture and how content is structured within navigation, user flows, and pages
  • Passion for content design and product strategy, especially in growth areas
  • Excellent sounding board; comfortable pointing out when a design, concept, or experience could be better and strategizing solutions
  • Experience influencing a variety of cross-functional peers and stakeholders
About the Role

This is a hybrid role that requires a strong understanding of UX and content design principles. The ideal candidate will have a portfolio that demonstrates their expertise in information architecture and content strategy. They will be responsible for shaping the Pinterest product by creating meaningful information experiences that help users complete tasks, discover features, and get the most out of the platform.
