We are currently seeking a Staff Accountant to join our dynamic team.

Role Responsibilities:

As a Staff Accountant, you will collaborate closely with our Senior Accounting Manager (CPA) to facilitate seamless financial operations and ensure the precise preparation of financial statements and reports. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a junior accountant to gain comprehensive exposure to various accounting processes, tools, and best practices while contributing to the advancement of an innovative tech startup.

Key Duties Include:
  • Supporting all phases of the monthly financial closing process.
  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly flash P&L reports, financial statements, and reporting packages for management and stakeholders.
  • Recording and reviewing accounting entries to verify accuracy and proper documentation.
  • Managing accounts receivable and accounts payable using QuickBooks and Brex.
  • Conducting monthly bank statement reconciliations.
  • Helping draft operational process documentation.
  • Collaborating with the Senior Accounting Manager, VP of Finance, and external advisors to ensure compliance with GAAP.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in accounting or finance.
  • 3+ years of experience in a public accounting firm or a startup environment.
  • Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with U.S. GAAP.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills are essential.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, self-motivated team environment.

This position offers a hybrid work model.

Compensation Structure:

Our compensation package comprises three elements: (i) a base salary, (ii) an annual cash bonus, and (iii) generous equity compensation. The base salary range for this role is between $75,000 and $105,000, depending on the candidate's experience and skills relative to the requirements outlined above.
