We are looking for a driven and self-directed Talent Acquisition Specialist for a 6-month contract position. This role presents a unique opportunity for a recruiter with strong business insight, influential capabilities, and the ability to navigate organizational dynamics to develop and enhance leadership and niche recruitment skills.
Key Responsibilities:Recruitment Execution
- Conduct thorough applicant evaluations and screenings to identify high-caliber talent for various positions.
- Promote excellence through inclusion by presenting a diverse array of candidates to hiring teams.
- Implement recruitment best practices and achieve key performance metrics.
- Source candidates for challenging positions utilizing diverse platforms and methodologies.
- Prepare interviewers for success by providing the necessary resources for equitable and consistent candidate evaluations.
- Extend offers to candidates, ensuring a positive experience for both candidates and clients throughout the recruitment journey.
Business Insight & Analysis
- Stay informed about market trends and competitor activities to inform effective talent acquisition strategies.
- Leverage talent analytics and data sources to deliver insights and recommendations.
- Evaluate effectiveness, set objectives, and analyze trends in recruitment.
Strategic Collaboration
- Comprehend MSK's strategic objectives and partner with hiring managers to identify essential skill gaps.
- Foster relationships and collaborate across all institutional levels to drive success.
Adaptability & Innovation
- Embrace change, acquire new skills, and contribute innovative ideas to enhance recruitment strategies.
- Investigate new technologies and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Internal Mobility Support
- Facilitate internal mobility by offering guidance and eliminating barriers to career advancement.
- Prioritize internal talent and assist in mobility across roles and departments.
- 4+ years of strategic full-cycle recruiting experience in a startup, agency, or large, matrixed organization; demonstrated ability to navigate various recruitment types (high volume, niche, corporate, clinical, or nonclinical) is essential.
- Exceptional communication and storytelling abilities, both verbal and written.
- Strong analytical skills and the capacity to excel in a fast-paced, complex environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, applicant tracking systems, sourcing tools, and comfortable with technology changes. Experience with Workday is a significant advantage.
- Proven project management, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Adept at building relationships across all levels, collaborating effectively, and managing time efficiently.
- Data-driven, inquisitive, creative, and eager to continuously learn, grow, and adapt to change.
- Familiarity with labor laws, EEO/AA regulations, and licensing requirements.
Note: This is a full-time 6-month contract position with the potential for extension based on performance and organizational needs.
Pay Range: $40-44/hr
