Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at WES Health System. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the HR department, ensuring the efficient operation of the office and maintaining an orderly environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR department
  • Maintain accurate records, including job requisitions, resumes, applications, and I-9s
  • Coordinate and conduct logistics for onboarding and new hire orientations
  • Complete background checks and track renewable requirements
  • Ensure required new hire documents are completed with accuracy
  • Perform reference checks and complete employment verifications
  • Maintain online job posts and support with print advertising
  • Issue new hire, contractor, and replacement identification badges
  • Schedule HR meetings, lunches, and employee engagement activities
  • Promote and support benefits, health & wellness, and employee engagement initiatives
  • Create and maintain employee files, auditing monthly for compliance
  • Provide exceptional customer service regarding day-to-day HR issues and inquiries
Requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to partner with all members of the organization
  • Ability to organize and multitask within a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to maintain confidential information
Education and Experience
  • Associate degree in HR or a related field (bachelor's degree preferred)
  • Two or more years' experience as an HR Assistant or related position
  • Knowledge of computer applications and HR-specific software programs
  • Working knowledge of HR functions and best practices
