We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Services Associate II to join our team at Jefferson Health. As a key member of our patient services team, you will play a vital role in enhancing the patient experience by providing exceptional customer service and support.
Key Responsibilities- Greet and check in patients at the front desk, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
- Inform patients of upcoming appointments and complete related case management notes on a daily basis.
- Complete patient reminder phone calls for all medical and psychiatric provider appointments as per scheduled timelines.
- Reschedule provider appointment no-shows and cancellations within 48 hours.
- Obtain new patient photos and upload them in the patient's chart in the EHR by Friday of each week.
- Issue patient identification cards and have clients sign the patient identification card form in the EHR by Friday of each week.
- Manage all incoming phone calls, check for voicemail, and disseminate messages to the appropriate staff on a daily basis.
- Manage all incoming fax documentation and sort and store them in the appropriate staff's mailbox on a daily basis.
- HS Diploma or equivalent required.
- Customer service and/or patient-facing healthcare experience preferred.
