Position Overview:
We are seeking a

Registered Nurse

Clinical Operations Manager

to join our dedicated team.
**$10,000.00 Sign-on Bonus

**In this role, you will report directly to the Executive Director, Administrator, or Senior Clinical Operations Manager. You will oversee the daily operations of your designated hospice location, managing the clinical components of the hospice program and ensuring high-quality care for patients.
Assuming leadership of the site in the absence of the Executive Director, Administrator, or Senior/Executive Clinical Operations Manager.
Overseeing clinical, administrative, and recordkeeping responsibilities.
Responding to phone inquiries and referrals with professionalism and compassion.
Participating in the on-call nursing schedule and delivering direct skilled nursing care in patients' homes.

Compensation may vary within the provided salary range based on several factors, including but not limited to a candidate's location, experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, and departmental equity.

Gentiva offers a comprehensive benefits and total rewards package, of which base pay is just one component.

Salary Range:
$120,000 - $135,000.00

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:
Registered Nurse with a minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution required.

Unless superseded by state-specific requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred from an accredited institution.
A minimum of three years of direct patient care experience in a clinical environment is required. Unless superseded by state-specific requirements
At least one year of management or supervisory experience is required.
Two or more years of experience in hospice or home care is required.
Current nursing license in the state of employment is required.

Licenses, Certifications, and Registrations:
Current nursing license in the state of employment
CPR Certification
Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance

Personal Attributes and Skills:
Empathy towards the terminally ill and their families before and after the patient's passing.


Must demonstrate adaptability by performing a variety of tasks, often transitioning between different responsibilities without loss of efficiency or composure.

Ability to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds. Influence opinions, attitudes, or judgments regarding ideas or concepts. Make assessments, evaluations, or decisions based on sensory or judgmental criteria. Exhibit evidence of patient advocacy. Display responsible behavior in the workplace, demonstrating maturity, cooperation, flexibility, and tact when interacting with colleagues and all members of the hospice team.

Specialized Knowledge and Skills:


Understanding of the needs of terminally ill patients and their families, along with a solid grasp of the hospice philosophy; knowledge of the roles of all disciplines involved in providing hospice services; excellent patient assessment capabilities; strong oral and written communication skills; thorough understanding of managed care principles and regulatory guidelines (i.e., Medicare, Medicaid, and human resource management principles).
