Reimbursement Specialist

We are seeking highly motivated Remote Reimbursement Specialists to join our team for the annual reverification project. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring that patient insurance benefits are verified accurately and timely.
Key Responsibilities:- Insurance Verification: Collect and review patient insurance benefit information from payers in compliance with program SOPs.
- Customer Service Excellence: Provide exceptional support to internal team members, resolving requests in a timely and accurate manner, and escalating issues when necessary.
- Payer Coordination: Maintain frequent phone contact with assigned payers and ensure effective communication for accurate and timely benefit investigations.
- Reporting: Identify and report any reimbursement trends or delays to your supervisor.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Performance Goals: Consistently meet or exceed daily and weekly targets for benefit verification (BV) completion.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a specialty pharmacy, medical insurance, physician's office, or a related healthcare setting.
- Previous Experience: Previous experience in an outbound call center is a plus.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Work Environment: Ability to work from home while meeting daily and weekly performance targets.
- Equipment: Willingness to pick up and return equipment onsite during the initial days of the project (local candidates only).

Training Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Location: Local candidates required for onsite equipment pickup in Charlotte, NC (must reside near designated locations)
