About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Early Interventionist to join our team at About Play. As an Early Interventionist, you will play a vital role in delivering quality care and support to families and children aged birth to six years with developmental delays or disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide early intervention services to children and families in designated areas
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to support children's developmental needs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support for children and families
  • Conduct home visits and provide guidance to parents on early childhood development
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on children's progress

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Family & Consumer Science, or a related field
  • At least 1 year of experience working with children birth to six years old
  • Prior early interventionist experience preferred
  • Driver's License and reliable car required
  • CPR, First Aid, and AED Certification (Heartsaver, Infant & Child) preferred

What We Offer:

  • A base salary of $40,000 a year
  • Travel mileage reimbursement at.45 per mile up to a $565 reimbursable monthly cap
