Radar and Receiver Exciter Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at Raytheon Careers. As a Radar and Receiver Exciter Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, integration, and support of complex radar systems.

Your primary focus will be on architecture development, integration, and analysis of the receiver and exciters of complex radar systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues and provide innovative solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Process and analyze Radar Receiver/Exciter data to identify and resolve system performance issues.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
  • Design and develop RF chain and signal processing algorithms.
  • Collaborate with teams to integrate and test radar systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years' of prior work experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years' of prior work experience.
  • Experience with Radar Receiver/Exciter system and subsystem analysis, design, and/or test.
  • Experience with RF chain design and analysis.
  • Experience with IQ/signal processing analysis in Matlab, C/C++, Python, or other programming languages.

We offer a competitive salary range of $96,000 - $200,000 USD, depending on experience. Additionally, you may be eligible for benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
