Tyonek Native Corporation is seeking a seasoned Government Contract Specialist to support our contracts team. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in federal government/military contracting and make a meaningful impact on our organization.

About the Position

  • The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of progressive experience in contract administration, including knowledge of FAR/DFARS, SCA, DCAA compliance.
  • You will work closely with our contracts team to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.
  • The successful candidate will have experience with Deltek CostPoint and be proficient in MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

  1. Evaluate, analyze, and administer awards and close out of prime contract agreements with a focus on federal government/military contracting.
  2. Administer contract set-up in Deltek CostPoint.
  3. Review, interpret, and distribute contract awards and modifications.
  4. Assist Program Managers and Project Control Analysts in monitoring and reporting project cost and status.
  5. Assist Program Management in tracking, reviewing, and submitting Contract Deliverable Requirements (CDRL's).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
  • 6-8 years of progressive experience in contract administration field with focus on federal government/military contracting.
  • Deltek CostPoint experience preferred.
  • Air Force Contracting and Customer Relationship experience preferred.
