Position Overview

SERVPRO of North Central Tazewell County is seeking a dedicated Financial Analyst to join our team. This role is essential for managing the financial health of our operations and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain precise financial records and ensure adherence to all accounting processes.
  • Oversee job costing, purchase orders, credit card transactions, and departmental budget management.
  • Review and approve contracts with subcontractors, ensuring billing accuracy.
  • Document daily operations, including labor tracking, equipment usage, and vendor costs.
  • Prepare comprehensive budgets and validate all financial reports.
  • Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including auditing processes.
  • Conduct thorough audits of documentation to confirm the accuracy of final billing.
  • Collaborate with external accounting firms for monthly financial close procedures.
  • Develop and implement written accounting procedures for team compliance.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience, with a focus on job costing and financial reporting.
  • Familiarity with accounting practices in the construction sector is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of commercial insurance policies and procedures is essential.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite is required.
  • Experience with Xactimate is a plus.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment while meeting deadlines.

This position primarily involves sedentary work in an office setting, with occasional filing tasks that may require physical activity such as walking, climbing stairs, and lifting files.
