This role will involve performing echocardiographic exams, diagnostic screening of all arterial and venous, upper, and lower extremities, and diagnostic screening of thyroid, aorta, and renal exams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnostic Testing: Perform patient screenings, including diagnostic testing, such as carotid plaque and intima-media thickness, thyroid ultrasound, aortic aneurysm screening, kidney ultrasound, and echocardiogram.
  • Image Submission: Submit high-quality images and documents sent to PACS.
  • Patient Records: Enter and maintain accurate electronic patient records.
  • Environmental Preparation: Ensure patient rooms are clean, sterilized, safe, and organized with adequate supplies and well-functioning equipment.
  • Patient Communication: Communicate with patients, helping each understand the screening process.
  • Patient Care: Deliver compassionate patient care and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, Registered Vascular Technician, or Vascular Ultrasound Technician.
  • Training: Must be willing to train on Echocardiography.
  • Accountability: Demonstrated accountability and attention to detail.
