Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at St. David's Medical Center in Texas. As a Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical center.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform echocardiograms and other diagnostic imaging procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac and vascular conditions.
  • Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, including ultrasound machines and other diagnostic imaging devices.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment of patients.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies for improving patient outcomes and reducing healthcare costs.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest advancements in diagnostic imaging and cardiac ultrasound technology.

Requirements:

  • BLS certification is required.
  • ARDMS or CCI Registry in Cardiac Ultrasound is required, with a focus on vascular and cardiac certification.
  • Ability to work variable hours, including on-call shifts and weekends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
