Physical Education Instructor

Foothill De Anza Community College District is seeking a qualified Physical Education Instructor to join our team. As a part-time faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching physical education and athletic training courses, as well as participating in the assessment of student work and timely submission of grades.
Responsibilities- Teach physical education and athletic training courses to students of varying skill levels and abilities.
- Evaluate and assess student work, providing constructive feedback to help students improve their performance.
- Participate in the assessment of your own performance, including administrative and student evaluations.
- Stay current with industry developments and best practices in physical education and athletic training.
This position requires a strong understanding of and sensitivity to the diverse academic, socio-economic, ethnic, religious, and cultural backgrounds of community college students, faculty, and staff. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in an indoor office environment and possess the physical abilities necessary to perform the tasks required of the position.
Requirements- Master's degree in Physical Education, Exercise Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching physical education or athletic training courses.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
