Foothill De Anza Community College District is seeking a qualified part-time Adapted Physical Education Instructor to join our team. The successful candidate will teach various courses in adapted physical education, including general conditioning, resistive exercise, aqua-cize, and aerobics.
Responsibilities- Teach adapted physical education courses to students with diverse needs and abilities.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that promote physical activity, fitness, and well-being.
- Evaluate student progress and provide feedback to students.
- Participate in professional development activities to stay current with best practices in adapted physical education.
- Master's degree in Physical Education, Adapted Physical Education, or a related field.
- Experience teaching adapted physical education courses to students with diverse needs and abilities.
- Understanding of and sensitivity to the diverse academic, socio-economic, ethnic, religious, and cultural backgrounds of community college students, faculty, and staff.
