Physical Education Instructor

Foothill De Anza Community College District is seeking a qualified Physical Education Instructor to join our team. As a part-time faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching physical education and athletic training courses, as well as participating in the assessment of student work and timely submission of grades.
Key Responsibilities- Teach physical education and athletic training courses to students of varying skill levels and abilities.
- Evaluate and assess student work, providing constructive feedback to help students improve.
- Participate in the assessment of your own performance, including administrative and student evaluations.
- Participate in various campus and staff development activities to enhance your teaching skills and stay current in your field.
This position requires a strong understanding of and sensitivity to the diverse academic, socio-economic, ethnic, religious, and cultural backgrounds of community college students, faculty, and staff. You will be working in an indoor office environment, with regular standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods of time.
Minimum Qualifications- Master's degree in Physical Education, Exercise Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching physical education or athletic training courses.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff.
