Salary and Benefits
We offer an attractive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additionally, you will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
Job Description
As an experienced Sous Chef, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of culinary excellence. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising food production at all stations, providing guidance and support to junior cooks
- Collaborating with the Executive Chef to ensure seamless service operations
- Source high-quality ingredients, ensuring consistency and freshness
- Maintaining kitchen equipment and adhering to strict food safety and sanitation protocols
- Managing inventory and controlling food costs
- Fostering a positive work environment, promoting employee morale and motivation
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A degree in culinary arts or related field
- Previous supervisory experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Cultural competence, with proficiency in English, French, and/or Spanish
