Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury Management Officer to join our Energy Capital Markets team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for cultivating new cash management relationships and driving revenue growth across our established Energy Capital Markets and Corporate Banking teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute an industry-focused sales strategy to grow RBC's capital markets client base and drive revenue.
  • Persuasively articulate RBC's US Cash Management value proposition to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Facilitate strategic dialogue with clients to deliver industry benchmarking insights and partner cross-functionally to design tailored end-to-end cash management solutions.
  • Collaborate with Client Relationship Managers, Account Management, and Product teams to bring forth client insights that drive solution development and enhancement.
  • Deliver thought leadership to the market, prospects, and clients on working capital solutions through client roundtables, industry conferences, webinars, and professional media platforms.
  • Devise and execute a plan to exceed sales goals and manage a sales pipeline of new and cross-sell opportunities.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of cash management, sales, and relationship management experience.
  • Success in developing new business through prospecting, utilizing strong selling and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Treasury Service products, credit and risk process, overdraft management discipline, and pricing philosophy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong time management, organizational, and planning skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in meeting or exceeding sales goals and proven top individual contributor.
  • Aptitude for powerful presentations and negotiation skills with internal and external clients.
  • Experience covering the Energy sector is preferred.

The good-faith expected salary range for this position is $210,000 - $250,000, depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate's experience, skills, registration status, market conditions, and business needs. This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions, health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, and paid time-off plan.
