Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Transportation Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will provide on-site support to our ADA-compliant transportation services, ensuring seamless and safe transportation experiences for our clients and their riders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide on-site support to ADA-compliant drivers and riders, ensuring timely and efficient transportation services.
  • Assign drivers to riders, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
  • Enter rider requests into our Transportation Management System (TMS) software, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Conduct vehicle inspections, ensuring all vehicles are in good working condition and meet safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and escalate any issues or concerns.
  • Oversee driver breaks and schedules, ensuring adequate relief coverage.
  • Enforce work rules, policies, and procedures, reporting any violations to the Operations Manager.
  • Operate ADA-compliant golf carts, ensuring safe and efficient transportation.
  • Assist passengers with vehicle entry and exit, ensuring a smooth and courteous experience.
  • Record trip activity using provided technology, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Ensure maintenance appointment reminders are adhered to, ensuring vehicles are properly maintained.
  • Ensure operational readiness of vehicles, including cleanliness, pleasant odor, and provision of amenities.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with experience working with disability accommodations.
  • Computer literacy, with experience using Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work various shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends, as required by the business.
  • Read, write, and speak English to the extent necessary to perform essential responsibilities.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to handle the public in a courteous and non-hostile manner.
  • Valid driver's license and previous driving experience.
