Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sr Technical Sales Representative to join our team at Kaneka Americas Holding. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining business relationships with current and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Develop yearly marketing objectives to establish sales goals and work with the Business Development Manager to identify objectives, strategies, and action plans to improve short- and long-term sales and earnings.
  • Sales and Marketing: Establish and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers, develop sales strategies to other sales/marketing staff, and ensure effective control of sales results and corrective action takes place within designated budgets.
  • Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
  • Collaboration: Work together with Technical Service and R&D to forge technology partnerships with key customers and demonstrate emotional intelligence skills such as emotional empathy, positive attitude, excellent communication skills, flexibility/adaptability, and interpersonal skills.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5+ years of experience in sales and business development.
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
