Key Responsibilities- Daily Territory Management: Visit customer job sites and offices to manage and grow revenue.
- Networking and Lead Generation: Develop a list of potential clients and consistently contact them through the telephone and internet.
- Sales Strategies: Plan and organize sales strategies to achieve desired results and goals.
- Revenue Growth: Maintain and exceed quotas by renting and selling equipment on a consistent basis.
- Customer Needs Assessment: Identify customer needs and react appropriately while understanding market conditions and local competitors' pricing.
- Customer Penetration: Penetrate customers at the strategic level to diversify the customer base to include industrial, traditional, and non-traditional accounts.
- Team Support: Support all team members.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Promotions, Advertising Sales, or Business Administration preferred.
- Experience: Proven track record with 3 to 5 years of outside sales experience within the industrial market and/or heavy equipment industry preferred.
- Communication: Ability to engage in natural verbal interaction with customers.
- Time Management: Ability to follow up with customers in a timely manner.
- Adaptability: Able to walk into unfamiliar environments and adjust rapidly to the setting.
- Attention to Detail: Attention to detail.
- Multi-Tasking: Multi-tasking individual who uses project management skills to accomplish goals.
- Customer Service: Customer service focused.
- Flexibility: Must react to changing business needs.
- Technical Skills: Solid and proven computer skill set (knowledge of MS Office is preferred).
