Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute multiple projects simultaneously, ranging in value and complexity from $1M to $25M each, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Document and report all project data accurately and in a timely manner, maintaining a high level of transparency and accountability.
  • Develop and maintain detailed technical scopes of work to support projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and expectations.
  • Evaluate vendor/contractor performance and compliance with scope documents, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Track project status and provide management reports relative to overall program performance, highlighting areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
  • Assist with change order review and evaluation, collaborating with Construction Project Manager and Cost Estimators to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Plan, organize, coordinate, and report performance of projects, including cost and schedule management, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, developing effective risk management plans to ensure project success.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience in managing multiple technology projects, with a strong background in networked technology that supports facilities systems.
  • Experience with end-to-end testing of systems and troubleshooting, as well as creating user guides and training materials.
  • Demonstrated experience building process workflows using Microsoft Visio, with a strong understanding of BDF/IDF build-out and capital improvement programs.
  • Experience managing multiple projects with differing complexities and size, with a strong understanding of relevant codes and standards.
  • Demonstrated experience reviewing and marking up drawings and specifications, as well as performing takeoffs for design/construction and developing equipment budgets.
  • Experience developing scope documentation, bill of materials, and validating all components for projects, with a strong understanding of the bidding and contracting process.
  • Experience facilitating and coordinating end-user training sessions, with a strong understanding of Cloud-based facilities and IT systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) and REVIT, as well as a valid Project Management certification.
  • Experience in Design-Build projects, California Community College Facilities, and familiarity with programs that utilize public funds.
  • Experience with deploying Cloud-based facilities and IT systems, as well as integrating audiovisual, electronic physical security, and high-speed data networks within construction environments.
