Program Management Specialist

Job Summary:
The Program Management Specialist will provide technical support to the Program Manager, Functional Leads, and IPT Leads for a major Department of Defense Weapons Accelerated Acquisition Program. The successful candidate will work closely with systems engineers and Program Managers to assist in capturing plans of action and milestones for working off technical issues and facilitating their incorporation into the Program Integrated Master Schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the Program Risk Manager in identifying, capturing, and tracking Program risks and their associated mitigation plans in accordance with DoD Instruction 5000.02 series, SECNAVINST 5000.2 series, NAVAIRINST 5000.21 series, and the Program Risk Management Plan.
• Use databases and MS Office products to manage, maintain, and distribute technical and programmatic data, as directed by Program Manager, IPT, and Functional Leads, and Configuration/Data Managers.
• Analyze information and make recommendations with supporting rationale.
• Utilize government-furnished data to develop products such as briefings and presentations, project reports, illustrations, etc.
Requirements:
• Eight (8) years' experience performing Program Analyst functions in support of Systems Engineering efforts for Naval Aviation.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Management; four additional years' experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.
• Two years of recent and relevant experience with Aviation Program Planning in one of the following areas: Complex Budget Processes, System Acquisition, or Interdepartmental Procurement Requests, work requests, requisitions, CDRLs, and ERP.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
• Highly-motivated self-starter with the ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced, dynamic work environment in order to meet ad-hoc and contractual requirements.
• Ability to travel on an 'as needed' basis.
• Experience with NAVAIR Acquisition Programs, NAVAIR Systems Engineering Technical Review process, and DoD Risk and Opportunity management process.

Minimum Tangible Qualifications:
• Must possess active Top Secret clearance.
• Must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; U.S. citizenship.

Salary: $110,653.00-$180,624 depending on experience
