Mental Health Support Professional

**About the Job:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Support Professional to join our team at the University of Rochester. In this role, you will work closely with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide top-notch care to patients with mental illnesses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement various types of psychiatric treatment plans for groups of patients, including group interventions.
- Collaborate with patients, family members, and the interdisciplinary treatment team to deliver quality services.
- Participate in ongoing staff development programs, workshops, and seminars.
Requirements:
- AAS degree in a Psychology or Sociology field, and 2-3 years recent Psychiatric Technician experience or Bachelor's degree in related field, or minimum two years of RN Nursing School.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Compensation Package:
The estimated salary range for this position is $45,000 - $65,000 per year, based on location and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
