Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Mental Health Support Specialist to join our team. As an integral part of our in-patient psychiatric services, you will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide individualized support and care. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Participating in social and psychiatric rehabilitation programs, including group therapy and educational sessions
- Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
- Informing RNs of any changes or concerns regarding patient care

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- 2 years of recent experience in mental health care or a related field
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- An Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in psychology or sociology
