DSI Systems Inc. is currently seeking a Field Sales Consultant. In this role, you will represent AT&T within National Retail. Your responsibilities will include training, mentoring, merchandising, and providing sales support in your designated area. You will be the go-to expert for all field-related inquiries concerning AT&T Wireless and AT&T Internet.

To drive AT&T's business growth, effective communication that conveys our value is essential. The ideal candidate will quickly adapt to our dynamic environment, mastering AT&T products and our mission. We expect you to establish strong relationships and enhance sales within your territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regularly visit assigned retail locations within your territory
  • Train retail associates on AT&T offerings
  • Provide guidance on effective sales techniques
  • Engage in side-by-side selling with retail partners
  • Disseminate current information regarding AT&T promotions
  • Deliver marketing materials and equipment as needed
  • Assist retail representatives in resolving customer inquiries
  • Act as a trainer, coach, and mentor for retail staff
  • Conduct sales demonstrations in retail settings to boost sales
  • Encourage retailers to meet company and program objectives
  • Achieve and surpass sales targets set by DSI
  • Stay informed on all sales processes, products, services, and promotions
  • Build and maintain credibility and trust with retail management
  • Gather competitive intelligence and market insights
  • Serve as the primary contact for daily communications with AT&T and retail leadership
  • Ensure merchandising standards are met and promotional materials are displayed
  • Coordinate all program logistics with DSI and AT&T
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure project success

Additional Duties

  • Follow supplier policies and procedures
  • Sign in and out at each retail visit as per standards
  • Exemplify professionalism within and outside the organization
  • Maintain a positive and respectful demeanor
  • Consistently arrive on time and be prepared for your duties
  • Visit a minimum of five stores daily to coach and mentor retail representatives
  • Manage expenses effectively and adhere to budget constraints
  • Complete various administrative tasks in a timely manner

Qualifications

  • Minimum of one year of experience in the retail sector; wireless experience is highly preferred
  • Ability to convey and train key brand messaging and product details engagingly
  • Open to receiving direction and coaching on evolving program specifications
  • Willingness to travel within a designated area with strong time management skills
  • Must possess a clean driving record and provide proof of automobile insurance
