TESOL Part-Time Lecturer Pool

We are seeking highly motivated and well-organized individuals to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the MS TESOL degree and the graduate and undergraduate TESOL certificates.
Areas of Specialization- L2 Methodology

- Teacher Supervision
This is a pool of part-time lecturers for the department to draw on as necessary. Qualified applicants will be contacted when positions are available.
Minimum Qualifications- Candidates for 400- and 500-level courses must hold a Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics, TESOL, or a related field, and possess native or near-native fluency in English.
- Candidates for 300-level courses must be at least a Ph.D. candidate (ABD) in Applied Linguistics, TESOL, or a related field, and possess native or near-native fluency in English.
- Candidates holding a terminal master's degree in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, or a related field are also welcome to apply, but will be considered for lower-division language courses (100 and 200 level) only.
- Preference will be given to candidates with prior teaching experience at the college or university level and who can furnish evidence of strong teaching.
- Preference will also be given to those with experience in working with diverse populations and fostering a collaborative, supportive, and inclusive environment.
- Preference will also be given to those with relevant work experience and those who bring professional capabilities.
