Position Summary:

Core Responsibilities:

Financial Performance:

  • Achieve sales objectives and adhere to budgetary guidelines.
  • Analyze financial opportunities, focusing on expense management and sales growth.
  • Educate team members on the financial aspects of successful business operations.
  • Collaborate with management to enhance profitability.

Sales Leadership and Promotions:

  • Recruit, train, and retain a dynamic team that embodies enthusiasm and energy.
  • Coach staff in alignment with the Company’s sales model to drive impactful results.
  • Ensure all team members leverage marketing initiatives and community engagement to boost sales.
  • Propose grassroots marketing strategies to enhance community involvement.
  • Utilize performance metrics to guide team behaviors towards excellence in sales.
  • Foster an environment where team members are empowered to deliver outstanding customer service.

Talent Development:

  • Focus on hiring and nurturing talent while planning for succession.
  • Maintain a succession plan to prevent vacancies in key roles.
  • Utilize Company resources for ongoing training in product knowledge and operational efficiency.
  • Embrace diversity in staffing to reflect community needs.
  • Partner with HR to ensure compliance with training and legal standards.
  • Uphold the highest ethical standards in all store activities.
  • Equip team members with the necessary tools for success.
  • Enhance team effectiveness through regular meetings focused on customer satisfaction.
  • Provide coaching based on performance outcomes.

Operational Excellence:

  • Implement Company standards for store cleanliness and merchandising.
  • Train team members on essential operational procedures.
  • Collaborate with management to execute merchandising strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with tagging and signage standards.
  • Oversee accurate completion of paperwork related to operations.
  • Submit necessary documentation to HR promptly.

Customer Experience:

  • Set a benchmark for customer service excellence.
  • Personally welcome guests to the store.
  • Drive initiatives to attract new customers.
  • Innovate ways to enhance guest experiences.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in managing a retail business unit.
  • Proven retail management experience with a focus on sales.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of profit and loss management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills for strategic planning.
  • Goal-oriented with a focus on achieving objectives.
  • History of effective team management and performance improvement.
  • Commitment to customer service excellence.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work flexible hours.

Supervisory Role:
Responsible for leading the store's management team and indirectly overseeing sales and design staff.

Work Schedule:
40 hours per week.
