Restaurant Operations Manager

Sully's Steamers Gainesville is a fast-paced and dynamic restaurant concept that is committed to providing a joyful work environment for our team members. As a Restaurant Operations Manager, you will play a key role in leading our team to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive business results.
Key Responsibilities:- General:
- Oversee and manage all areas of the restaurant, making final decisions on matters of importance.
- Financial:
- Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of financial and personnel/payroll-related administrative duties.
- Work with corporate office staff to optimize provisioning and purchasing of supplies.
- Food Safety and Planning:
- Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas.
- Ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws, and ordinances.
- Estimate food needs, place orders with distributors, and schedule delivery of fresh food and supplies.
- Guest Service:
- Ensure positive guest service in all areas, responding to complaints and taking action to turn dissatisfied guests into return guests.
- Personnel:
- Provide direction to employees on operational and procedural issues.
- Interview hourly employees, direct hiring, supervision, development, and termination when necessary.
- Conduct orientation for new employees, explain Sully's Steamers Philosophy, and oversee training.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date plan of restaurant staffing needs.
- Community Involvement:
- Provide a strong presence in the local community and a high level of community involvement by restaurants and personnel.
- A college degree is preferred, but a combination of practical experience and education will be considered as an alternative.
- Knowledge of computers (MS Word, Excel, Google Suite).
- Proficient in the following dimensions of restaurant functions: food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation, security, company policies and procedures, personnel management, record keeping, and preparation of reports.
- Must be ServSafe certified (Certification can be obtained after hire).
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- Must be willing to submit to a background check.
