Assistant Branch Manager

As an Assistant Branch Manager at Global Credit Union, you will play a key role in supervising branch activities and staff, with a focus on creating a positive member and employee experience. You will model a consultative, empathetic, and personalized service approach with every interaction, exceeding member service and sales performance standards.
Key Responsibilities- Engage with existing and prospective members to create a positive member experience.
- Coach, lead, and motivate branch employees through observational feedback, monthly one-on-ones, and training sessions.
- Mentor branch staff through employee development and engagement strategies.
- Deepen and retain member relationships through member engagement strategies.
- Supervise daily operational duties, including compliance, security, branch balancing, and control of branch cash and negotiable items.
- Manage employee and branch schedules to ensure optimal staffing levels and uphold member service expectations.
- Obtain state-mandated insurance licenses and assist in developing a strategy to meet quote and issue goals.
- Support the Member Service Center by monitoring call activities and allocating assistance as needed.
- Ensure a safe and inclusive work environment, solicit diverse ideas, and build positive working relationships.
Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
Creditable experience in lieu of education: One year supervisory experience in retail or branch banking or comparable management experience.
Experience/Skills: Leadership experience, proven ability to coach and develop sales and service excellence, strong verbal and interpersonal communications and personnel management skills, passion for helping people, dynamic personality, and strong desire to learn.
CompensationAssistant Branch Manager I (Category 11): Salary pay range $52,258 - $81,523 annually.
