You derive great satisfaction from assisting clients in organizing and comprehending their business operations while ensuring timely and budget-compliant deliverables.

The Role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Internal Accounting team.

The Senior Accountant will report to the Controller and will be responsible for a wide array of tasks for clients, including but not limited to:

  • Processing financial transactions
  • Overseeing accounts payable and receivable processes
  • Reviewing payroll
  • Preparing financial statements, variance analyses, and other financial reports
  • Budgeting, forecasting, and reporting

This position offers a clear path for advancement and can serve as a launching pad to more senior roles, contingent on technical expertise, the ability to manage tasks independently, and timely completion of all responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage or assist with the monthly closing process
  • Engage in special projects as required
  • Prepare and review month-end journal entries
  • Reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts
  • Prepare and review budgets and forecasts for various scenarios
  • Understand contracts and assist in their preparation
  • Conduct various financial analyses and ratios for client discussions
  • Interpret regulations relevant to client accounting needs
  • Prepare and present financial statements to executives
  • Assist with audits and audit report preparation
  • Supervise staff

Essential Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field
  • 3-7 years of relevant experience preferred
  • Proficient in Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office products
  • Experienced with QuickBooks Online and other accounting and payroll software
Compensation and Benefits
  • Annual salary of $57,000
