Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Ensure the accuracy and completeness of daily teacher attendance logs, staff time records, and substitute teacher information.
  • PowerSchool Management: Verify the accuracy and completeness of PowerSchool technology, including pupil information.
  • Staff Record Management: Update and maintain staff records, ensuring compliance with school policies and procedures.
  • Administrative Support: Perform complex word processing, typing, and proofreading tasks, including letters, documents, and memoranda.
  • Financial Management: Prepare and submit TLM Payroll, Supplemental pays, and MUNIS requisitions in a timely manner.
  • Customer Service: Welcome visitors, respond to inquiries, and direct them to the appropriate person.
  • Office Operations: Operate fax and copying machines to duplicate various forms, bulletins, and notices.
  • File Management: Organize and maintain office files, ensuring easy access to information.
  • Communication: Answer the telephone, take messages, and forward them to the appropriate personnel.
  • Team Support: Provide general support to the Principal, Assistant Principal, and other main office staff.
Requirements:
  • Civil Service Eligibility: Must meet the requirements for Civil Service Eligibility.
  • Education: High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to type, word process, and proofread letters and documents with high accuracy.
  • Soft Skills: Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work a flexible schedule that coincides with the school's hours.
  • Residency: Residency in Springfield.
