ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with educators to deliver direct instruction and support to small groups or individual learners.
- Serve as a positive role model, fostering strong connections with students.
- Assist educators in various classroom tasks, including maintaining a safe environment, managing supplies, and preparing instructional materials.
- Support the assessment of student progress, grading, and providing assistance as needed.
- Anticipate the needs of educators, predict student behavior, and effectively problem-solve within the classroom.
- Engage with students from diverse perspectives, utilizing your passion for language arts, mathematics, and reading to make learning enjoyable and engaging for all.
ABOUT YOU
- Comfortable assisting educators in fostering a positive learning atmosphere for students.
- Experience in preparing classroom materials and equipment.
- Supervise students during non-instructional periods.
- Provide essential academic support to students, such as flashcards and drills.
- Manage grading assignments and maintain accurate records.
- Handle clerical tasks such as filing and copying as required.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Eligibility to work in the United States and completion of a Live-Scan background check and TB screening.
- 1-2 years of experience in education, coaching, child development, or related fields is strongly preferred.
- Possession of teaching credentials or paraprofessional certification.
- Reliable transportation is necessary.
- Willingness to adhere to health protocols as outlined by educational institutions.
