Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Special Education Assistant to join our team at Twin Rivers Unified School District. The ideal candidate will provide individualized support to students with special needs, assisting them in achieving their academic and personal goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one support to students with special needs in a classroom setting
  • Assist teachers with instruction and classroom management
  • Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure student success

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Successful completion of a competency assessment demonstrating knowledge and ability to assist in instructing reading, writing, and mathematics
  • May require a valid driver's license and First Aid/CPR certification
