Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Behavior Intervention Specialist to join our team at Highlands High School. As a Behavior Intervention Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting students with special needs. Your primary responsibilities will include administering one-on-one intensive behavioral intervention therapy and tutoring to students in a school, home, or other setting.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a high school diploma or equivalent, 48 college credit units that are degree eligible, plus one year of experience working within a classroom environment containing students with special needs. Alternatively, you may accept a high school diploma, passing of a competency exam, and three years of classroom experience.

Your salary placement will be based on your experience. Licenses, Certifications, Bonding, and/or Testing Require

A valid driver's license, completion of ABA/DTT training, and a valid first aid card may be required for this position.
