Pediatric Care Assistant for Special Needs Unit

Position Summary: This position entails collaborating with a diverse team in a specialized pediatric step-down care environment at a prestigious healthcare institution. The ideal candidate will deliver essential support and care to patients, healthcare professionals, and visitors under the supervision of registered nurses and licensed practical nurses.
- Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Minimum of six months of recent experience in patient care OR current enrollment in a medical training program with clinical components OR certification as a CNA, CMA, PCT, or EMT - BLS certification required
About Our Facility: The Special Care Unit (SCU) consists of 26 beds dedicated to critically ill pediatric patients from various medical specialties. Our commitment to excellence and teamwork enables our healthcare professionals to provide outstanding care for our diverse patient demographic.
