Reports To: Regional Director

Classification: Non-exempt

Position Summary: The Home Manager is accountable for overseeing the daily operations of a residential facility, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for individuals with disabilities.

Qualifications:

Education: High School diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate's degree is preferred.

Experience: A minimum of two years' experience in working with individuals with disabilities or in a related field is required, along with at least one year of supervisory experience preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered.

Licenses and Certifications: Must possess a valid driver's license and vehicle insurance; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential.

Supervisory Duties: The Home Manager supervises direct support professionals within the assigned residential setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Training and Program Management: Ensure person-centered activities are designed and executed based on individual interests and goals.
  2. Health and Safety Oversight: Conduct regular inspections of the home to maintain safety standards and address any deficiencies.
  3. Housekeeping Duties: Oversee daily housekeeping tasks, including laundry and meal planning, ensuring nutritional needs are met.
  4. Administrative Functions: Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding community living arrangements.
  5. Record Keeping: Keep accurate records of individual care, spending, and health-related documentation.
  6. Physical Health Services: Manage medication administration and ensure all health records are maintained according to policy.
  7. Community Relations: Foster positive relationships with individuals, families, and staff, promoting a collaborative environment.

Additional Responsibilities: Adhere to all agency policies and procedures, supporting the rights and dignity of clients while promoting their personal growth and development.
