Key Responsibilities- Participate in infection control and risk management activities to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients.
- Guide new patients through a comprehensive 120-day education plan to ensure they receive the best possible care.
- Obtain and record patient vital signs and machine readings during treatment, under the supervision of a registered nurse.
- Set up and break down dialysis blood systems for treatment, and insert and remove patient access needles as needed.
- Monitor patients during dialysis, document changes, and inform the charge nurse of any concerns.
- Calculate patient weight loss to reach dry weight, and determine patient care priorities to organize workload accordingly.
- Maintain professional working relationships, observing patient privacy and rights, and maintain and track inventory.
- Perform laboratory work as needed to support patient care.
- Paid 12-week training program with a preceptor to ensure a smooth transition into the role.
- Competitive pay range of $15-$20 per hour, depending on healthcare experience.

- Paid time off (PTO) including holidays, and an Extended Sick Bank (ESB) for paid time off for doctor appointments, sickness, or medical leave.
