What does the position entail?

  • Building Connections: You will engage with clients promptly or be actively involved to seize valuable business opportunities. Your focus will be on creating value through long-lasting, profitable relationships.
  • Time and Territory Management: You will design a daily agenda (including site visits and client meetings) to enhance client engagement and sales effectiveness within your designated territory.
  • Be a Hilti Advocate: You will possess the technical expertise necessary to provide high-level consultations within your territory and represent the Hilti brand effectively in the marketplace.
  • Monitoring Your Progress: You will utilize Salesforce to document all client interactions leading to sales, as accurate reporting is crucial in this role.

What qualifications are required?

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of three years of outside sales experience, ideally in a target-driven environment
  • Hands-on approach – you will demonstrate our tools to clients, utilize platforms like Salesforce for tracking, and collaborate with various departments
  • Maintain a valid driver's license – a company vehicle will be provided, so readiness to drive is essential
  • Strong time and territory management skills
  • Ability to navigate construction sites, climb scaffolding, and lift up to 65 pounds as needed
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule
