Job Summary

We are seeking an Administrative Enrollment Specialist to facilitate the selection and enrollment of qualified student applicants for school admission. The successful candidate will provide day-to-day administration of basic office and school operations, ensuring compliance with applicable federal and state laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Comply with applicable federal and state laws and regulations, accreditor standards, and institutional policies and procedures.
  • Receive and respond to in-bound inquiries, conduct outbound phone calls and emails to prospective students, and schedule appointments.
  • Assess and interview prospective students to determine their needs and goals.
  • Assess the prospective student's ability to meet Federal Motor Carrier regulations and determine eligibility for employment in the transportation industry.
  • Develop referrals and personal leads.
  • Conduct tours of the campus facilities and communicate features and benefits related to prospective student interest and program offerings.
  • Discuss payment options and follow up on all inquiries that fail to schedule an interview or fail to show for an interview.
  • Enroll students who meet eligibility requirements, complete all required forms for enrollment and orientation.
  • Develop and implement a plan to follow up on those who enroll to confirm they start on their scheduled start date and complete all admission paperwork and requirements.
  • Meet or exceed enrollment objectives.
  • Prepare and compile all documents in student files for the first day of class.
  • Provide employer and placement information to students and accurately record in the Student Management System.
  • Update and complete student transcripts and prepare graduation certificates.
  • Accounts Receivables/Payables: Prepare invoices to students, agencies, and other trainees, process receipt of checks, cash, and credit card charges, and report student attendance/earnings daily.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Prior post-secondary education experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Working knowledge of office equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including problem solving and conflict resolution.
