Job Title: Credit Manager

Environmental Solutions Group is seeking a highly skilled Credit Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the credit process, ensuring efficient evaluation, administration, and monitoring of credit granted.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement credit policies and procedures to minimize risk and maximize cash flow.
  • Conduct thorough credit evaluations of potential customers, analyzing financial statements and credit reports.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with customers, sales, and operations teams to resolve collections issues and improve working capital.
  • Manage and monitor credit hold functions within our ERP system.
  • Negotiate and secure payment arrangements with delinquent accounts.
  • Identify and mitigate risks within the receivables, developing plans to minimize losses.
  • Analyze credit data and financial statements to identify trends and potential risks.
  • Lead the collection team to ensure efficiency and effectiveness, balancing workloads and providing coaching and development opportunities.
  • Develop and provide weekly updates on collection targets and forecasts to our finance team.
  • Collaborate with customer service, sales, and operations to resolve collection issues and improve customer experience.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of operational credit management experience, with leadership experience in credit management.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to thrive in high-pressure environments.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and ERP systems, with a strong understanding of local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to credit management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize efficiently.
