Director of Clinical Operations

Navion Senior Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to serve as its Director of Clinical Services. This key leadership position is responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality resident care in our Memory Care Community.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service and Quality Care: Demonstrate exceptional customer service relations and ensure the community's quality care and service standards are met.
- Wellness Philosophy and Standards: Incorporate wellness philosophy, standards, and objectives into the evaluation process for staff in the Wellness Department.
- Direct Resident Care: Provide direct resident care and services, including medication management when indicated.
- Health Assessments and Service Plans: Complete and maintain individualized accurate health assessments and updated service plans for each resident.
- Resident Care Management: Provide direction on format and approach to resident care and service management.
- Medication Management: Ensure community compliance with medication management procedures in accordance with state and company guidelines.
- Quality Improvement Committees: Serve on Quality Improvement Committees that include Resident Care management, Infection Control, and Safety.
- Infection Control Coordinator: Serve as the Infection Control Coordinator, following all OSHA safety guidelines.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Licensure: Current state license as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Experience: A minimum of two (2) years' experience in a management position in Long Term Care, Assisted Living, or Skilled Nursing, with an underlying knowledge of the overall disease processes of the elderly, as well as familiarity in dealing with residents with a diagnosis of Dementia.
- Nursing Practices and Techniques: Demonstrated knowledge of nursing practices, techniques, and methods as applied to resident care in the geriatric population found in assisted living and memory care.
- Resident Assessments and Care Planning: Solid understanding of the requirements for resident assessments and the care planning process.
- Communication and Organizational Skills: Ability to handle multiple differentiating priorities, possess written and verbal skills for effective communication with residents, families, and healthcare team members, and experienced in organizational and time management skills.
- Decision-Making and Problem-Solving: Demonstrates good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Supervisory and Management Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory and management experience.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel), with the ability to learn new applications.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Demonstrates knowledge of federal, state, and local adult care regulations.
