Principal Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Mechanical Design Engineer to lead our Electronic Warfare Mechanical Design Hardware Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, integrating, verifying, and producing digital processor and RF receiver subsystems for airborne platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop mechanical systems for challenging thermal and high vibration environments
- Lead programs as a Responsible Engineering Authority (REA) or Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure program success
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and presentations
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 8 years of experience in mechanical design and development, or 5 years with an advanced degree
- Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and ASME drawing and documentation standards
- Proficiency in solid modeling tools such as Pro/Engineer/CREO
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance
- Broad-based mechanical engineering experience spanning the entire product development lifecycle
- Experience with EW/Radar Systems or RF Products
- Experience with Conformal Antenna Array Packaging
- Experience with managing budget and schedule using Earned Value Management (EVM)
