We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Mechanical Engineer to lead new product development within the Electronic Warfare Mechanical Design Hardware Department. Key Responsibilities- Lead programs as a Responsible Engineering Authority (REA) or Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL)
- Ensure program success along technical, cost, and schedule parameters
- Oversee junior engineer's job assignments and performance
- Develop and implement effective corrective actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, integrate, and test mechanical systems
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- ~8 years' experience with Mechanical Design, Development, and/or Implementation of Defense-related Electronic Systems
- Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and/or ASME drawing and documentation standards and procedures
- Proficiency with solid modeling tools, such as Pro/Engineer/CREO
- Strong leadership and communication skills
