Painter (Residential/Commercial) - Royal Oaks Country Club

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at Royal Oaks Country Club. As a Painter, you will be responsible for applying coats of paint, varnish, stain, enamel, or lacquer to decorate and protect exterior and interior surfaces, trimmings, and fixtures of our buildings and structures.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding and removing old paint, filling holes, cracks, and joints with appropriate filler.
- Select premixed paints or mix required portions of pigment, oil, and thinning and drying substances to prepare paint to match specified colors.
- Paint surfaces, using brushes, spray gun, paint rollers, or other methods to achieve required effects. Stain, seal, and varnish wood surfaces.
- Erect scaffolding, set up ladders, or use hoists to perform tasks above ground level.
- Pick up and deliver painting supplies.
- Receive and complete work orders. Identify and complete needed repairs on buildings, grounds, and equipment using established inspection procedures.
- Maintain accurate records on material and labor used.
- Inspect jobs upon completion and ensure areas are clean and excess materials are removed as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned; assist with maintenance as needed.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Texas Driver's License
This position requires frequent standing, kneeling/squatting, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting. You will also be required to work outside and inside, on slippery or uneven walking surfaces, and be exposed to extreme hot and cold temperatures and excessive humidity and dampness.
Additional InformationThis is a full-time position with occasional nights and overtime as needed. You must have own dependable transportation to and from site. Dependability is a must for this position, and frequent call ins and no shows are not acceptable.
