Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP is seeking a highly skilled Legal Administrative Coordinator to support the Labor and Employment Practice Group. This role will provide administrative, secretarial, and document processing support to the assigned practice group, emphasizing superior client service.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize Task Delegation and Workflow Management software to receive, enter, and update assignments, and timely communicate with supervisors through BigHand and/or directly.
- Assist with word processing, editing, and proofreading correspondence, memorandums, reports, and other general communications.
- Answer phones, take messages, schedule appointments, coordinate meetings, arrange audio and video conferences, and reserve conference rooms.
- Maintain attorney calendars, advise attorneys of appointments, update attorney address books, and InterAction entries.
- Process new business intake, related forms, and correspondence, and arrange check requests.
- Coordinate or assist with printing, scanning, copying of documents, and sending of same.
- Provide legal research, case support, and project assistance.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree and at least two (2) years of administrative support experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous law firm experience required.
- Experience with supporting a Litigation practice, including court rules and filing procedures.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Portable Document Format (PDF) software.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, and ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to work autonomously while also functioning effectively in a team environment.
- Exhibits strategic thinking and initiative in handling assignments and projects.
- Works productively and effectively with all personnel as part of a client service team.
- Demonstrates excellent client communication skills.
- Flexibility to work overtime required.
